  4.     Oprah and Geraldo should brace themselves. The Rev. Jesse
  5. Jackson is starting his own TV talk show. The two-time Democratic
  6. presidential candidate announced last week that he has signed on
  7. with a subsidiary of Warner Communications to produce Voices of
  8. America with Jesse Jackson, a weekly one-hour program that will
  9. debut in the fall of next year, if stations decide to buy it. The
  10. surprisingly early announcement may have been meant to kill rumors
  11. that Jackson may try to become mayor of Washington in the November
  12. 1990 elections. If so, it failed. While declaring once again that
  13. he had "no plans" to run in that election, he noted that "my real
  14. interest is serving and building a coalition as a communicator."
  15. One adviser notes that since the last presidential campaign,
  16. Jackson has been looking for a "steady platform" that would keep
  17. him in the public eye. There has never been a conflict in Jackson's
  18. ability to talk, talk, talk while he runs, runs, runs.
